Welcome to The CycleVault ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the The CycleVault iOS app and the thecyclevault.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1 Who can use The CycleVault

The CycleVault is not intended for children under 13. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher).

2 No medical advice

The CycleVault is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Predictions, phase estimates, and educational content are informational only. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified clinician.

Do not use The CycleVault as a contraceptive or fertility planning tool. If you have a health concern, please consult a healthcare professional.

3 Your data is yours

The CycleVault is designed so that the cycle data you enter is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or have access to it. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your device secure (lock screen, OS updates, etc.)
• Backing up exports if you want to keep them long-term
• Understanding that uninstalling the app removes your data

4 Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other people
• Try to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service
• Resell or redistribute the app or its content without permission

5 Intellectual property

The CycleVault, including its design, code, branding, and original written content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Educational articles in The CycleVault Library are © The CycleVault, except where third-party sources are cited.

You retain ownership of any data you enter into the app. We don't claim rights to your personal cycle history.

6 Pricing & subscriptions

The core experience of The CycleVault — daily logging, calendar, history, export, and Face ID lock — is free, with no advertising. We may offer optional Premium features in the future. If we do:

• Pricing will be clearly disclosed before purchase
• Subscriptions will be billed through the App Store, following Apple's standard terms
• You can cancel any time through your App Store account

7 Service availability

We do our best to keep the app and website running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend features to fix bugs, add improvements, or address security issues.

8 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The CycleVault is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including (but not limited to) decisions made based on predictions or educational content.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer in your country of residence.

9 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
