The CycleVault (“we,” “our,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and treating your cycle-related data with respect. This Privacy Policy explains how The CycleVault website and companion iOS app handle information.
By using The CycleVault app or visiting thecyclevault.com, you agree to the terms in this Privacy Policy.
1. What We Collect
We designed The CycleVault from the ground up to avoid collecting personal data.
App Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The iOS app stores information only on your device’s encrypted file system, including:
- period tracking entries
- symptoms
- notes
- cycle predictions
- optional first name (if provided)
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
Website
TheCycleVault.com does not:
- collect personal information
- use cookies for tracking or profiling
- require or offer user accounts
If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated.
2. What We Don’t Collect
The CycleVault does not:
- collect or store medical or cycle history on servers
- send your data to third parties
- sell or share personal information
- use ad trackers
- require a subscription for basic use
- require sign-in or a cloud profile
Your cycle data remains fully private and local to your device at all times.
3. Data Storage
All period, symptom, and note data is stored securely and locally on your device.
The app performs no automatic network activity.
If you delete the app, your data is removed from your device as part of the uninstall process.
4. Export & Control
You remain in control of your data.
You may:
- export your cycle history to local storage
- permanently delete all local data inside the app
We never store or backup exported data.
5. Children’s Privacy
The CycleVault is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as we improve or expand the app.
If major changes occur, the updated date at the top of this policy will be revised.
